May 10, 2013 Purina Saddle Series is finishing up with PSS awards on the weekend of May 18 and 19 in Fremont, NE. Awards will be presented on Sunday at 1 pm with a light lunch served. If you cannot make the awards presentation, please make arrangements for someone to pick up your award. No awards will be mailed out. Purina Mills Horse Feeds, with their local feed dealers in Nebraska and Iowa, and Hillcrest Vet Clinic, in Lincoln, NE have been sponsors of these events for over 6 years now. Please take the time to thank them for their sponsorship. All stalls will have to be cleaned out down to the dirt with chains and locks removed. If the city has to clean your stall there will be a charge of $50 per stall. The standings have been audited and posted with the number of events you have attended. If you find a mistake please let me know as soon as possible. Fremont Youth Rodeo will have an event at 10 am on May 18. On Friday night there will be a goat tying clinic from 6 – 10 pm at the arena. This clinic is for anyone wanting to learn how or just practice tying goats. The cost will be $40 per student. If you have any questions, please call me at 402-419-0191. "Good Sportsmanship will always be recognized by those on the outside of the ring - friends, competitors, judges and people in the business. That's who you build your reputation with as a competitor. Any time you display good sportsmanship, you will shine." by Lynn Palm.
